Here’s a rule of thumb for all police departments, all bandwagon-riding politicians, all journalists, and all consumers of the tripe produced by journalists (if there are any left): whenever a mosque is set afire, it was a Muslim who did it.

Just remember that rule of thumb and save yourself a lot of time and embarrassment.

In fact, let’s go a step further and say whenever anything owned by Muslims is set afire, it was a Muslim who did it; and almost certainly one of the Muslims who owned or utilized the place.

Anyway, that’s what happened with the 2015 Christmas Day mosque fire in Houston, which was set by Gary Nathaniel Moore, the handsome guy pictured top right.  Gary wasn’t just a Muslim who used the Savoy Masjid for occasional prayers—he prayed there multiple times every day for more than five years.  That makes him a loyal mosque-a-teer by any standard.

Kind of makes you wonder if he was loyal enough to commit arson so the mosque could collect insurance proceeds... or is that overly cynical?

As usual, the deceitful denizens of CAIR were front and center, ready with handouts and skewed data showing how often Muslims are the victims of hate crimes.  It’s a veritable epidemic if you listen to CAIR—almost never if you look at honest statistics.  What CAIR never mentions is how many of those supposed hate crimes on their list were subsequently discovered to have been perpetrated by Muslims upon themselves.

And also as usual, the media ate the CAIR crap up like it was caviar, almost unanimously regurgitating CAIR’s propaganda into their newspapers and broadcasts without even the slightest sign they possessed any critical thinking abilities.  Some of them even went so far as to blame conservative presidential candidates and Donald Trump in particular for saying mean things about Muslim refugees.

You can’t blame that on Gary.  There’s no sign he set the mosque afire for the purpose of defaming Donald Trump.  Blame that on the media who took a bogus hate crime and ascribed an even more bogus motive to it.  CBS News for example:

“Advocacy groups believe there has been a spike in anti-Muslim incidents across the United States in recent weeks that can be linked to the mass shooting in California and the inflammatory rhetoric of Donald Trump and other Republican presidential candidates.  And they say that Muslims are fearful the backlash could lead to further harassment and violence.”

Now you know why journalism is the least respected profession on Planet Earth.
